Job Description

We’re looking for a 3D Motion Graphics Artist who can bring broadcast-level polish and commercial-grade style to a next-gen soccer game. You’ll design, animate, and integrate motion graphics that feel like they belong on a world-class sports network—but also work in-engine , on the field, and in the stadium.

This includes 2D/3D sports television-style UI , advertising content , and cinematic overlays —rendered for both gameplay and marketing purposes—and seamlessly integrated into Unreal Engine 5 for use in in-world billboards, jumbotrons, replays, and animated HUDs.

You'll Work On:

  • Designing and animating high-quality motion graphics packages for match intros, lower-thirds, score bugs, goal replays, halftime stats, and UI overlays
  • Creating animated sponsor boards, jumbotron ads, and on-field LED signage with stylized 3D branding
  • Building modular 2D/3D HUD elements for set pieces, substitutions, player highlights, etc.
  • Pre-rendered commercial assets for trailers, menus, broadcast transitions, and marketing sizzle reels
  • Integrating real-time motion graphics into Unreal Engine 5 via UMG, Niagara, or media texture workflows
  • Working with UI, cinematic, and environment teams to ensure stylistic and spatial consistency

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a motion graphics artist in games, sports broadcast, or digital media
  • Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D tools like Blender, C4D, or Maya
  • Strong reel showcasing broadcast or sports-style motion design
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 5, including UMG, materials, and media textures
  • Able to deliver clean, modular graphics with dynamic data-driven components (e.g. player names, scores, stats)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience creating graphics for televised sports (ESPN, Sky Sports, Fox, etc.)
  • Familiarity with broadcast design standards and sports editorial pacing
  • Understanding of soccer culture, club branding, and stadium presentation flow
  • Comfort working across pre-rendered and real-time pipelines

You’ll play a key role in giving our soccer game the look and feel of a high-end broadcast —but with the flexibility, flair, and real-time power of Unreal Engine 5.
