Role Overview:
We’re seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models that power our automated underwriting engine. Your work will directly impact how we evaluate risk, assess creditworthiness, and provide faster funding decisions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, train, test, and deploy machine learning models to automate and optimize the underwriting process.
• Analyze large financial and business datasets to extract meaningful insights and improve model performance.
• Work closely with our engineering and data teams to integrate models into production systems.
• Continuously monitor, maintain, and refine models to ensure accuracy, fairness, and compliance.
• Research and apply advanced techniques in natural language processing, computer vision, or other relevant areas to enhance our underwriting capabilities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets; familiarity with Salesforce objects and cloud data platforms such as BigQuery is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial services, credit risk modeling, or lending is a strong advantage.
