As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a prominent financial institution. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving position, requiring you to be prepared and alert while navigating the premises. You will interact with employees, visitors, and clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the financial institution.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related breaches in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders during critical incidents or as directed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or have an equivalent qualification.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
