As an Assistant Designer, you will partner with the design leadership team to execute the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for creating and executing original, trend-appropriate designs that align with market needs and drive sales, while ensuring each stage of the development process is completed on time. What you'll do: Researching and identifying trend directions; creating digital concept/mood boards, analyzing collections, and reviewing fabrics & design concepts Supporting the design team in creating and developing seasonal apparel collections for our women's private label brands. Assisting in sketching, draping, fitting, fabric sourcing, trend research, and presentation preparation. Partnering with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, product development, and quality assurance to bring collections to life. Collaborating with domestic and direct suppliers, both virtually and in person, to provide brand design direction and feedback. Designing/developing according to line plans, sales needs, and emerging trends, ensuring timely execution of the product development calendar.
