Your New Role… CNN seeks a talented Associate Producer to join the team. Your Role Accountabilities… Viewing and selecting the strongest and most accurate video elements for a newscast. Familiarity with important stories and their elements. Communicating show needs with writers, producers, and assignment desks. Ordering/producing graphics, reporter packages, social media segments, and preparing editing requests. Ensuring video elements are prepared properly for air and media source records are accurate. Your Qualifications & Experience… Two years as an AP, writer/producer, or producer in local news, cable, or at the network level. Strong news awareness, production skills, and ability to react quickly in a 24-hour newsroom environment. Professionalism in challenging situations and quick reaction to breaking news. Knowledge of iNews is beneficial. Understanding of graphics, social media, and non-linear production. Flexible, adaptable to technology, and willing to support coverage needs at all times.
