Banking Associate (US) – 30 hrs – Roslindale, MA Work Location: Roslindale, Massachusetts, United States Hours: 30 per week Pay: $23.75 – $31.00 USD per hour Job Summary As a Banking Associate, you will deliver TD’s brand promise at a store location by accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. Key Responsibilities Process customer transactions, open new accounts, and educate customers on all banking products. Deliver end‑to‑end customer advice: build trust with educational content & tools, provide consultative support, and offer proactive recommendations. Use TD’s systems and tools to engage customers, develop and deepen relationships, and refer them to appropriate experts. Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on teller line or platform while uncovering customer financial needs. Serve customers on both teller line and platform, handling deposits, card issues, mobile, and online banking. Conduct lead management activities: self‑generated leads, partner referral leads, outbound calls, SMS, appointment setting, and lead prioritization. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. 1 year of customer‑facing experience (volunteer, education, military, or preferred: customer service). Teller experience preferred. Must complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Notary license preferred. Accountabilities Customer Accountabilities Consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products. Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge, active listening, and identifying additional needs. Manage wait times by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. Represent the first point of contact for customer inquiries and help orchestrate walk‑in traffic. Support the bank’s customer‑service strategy and comply with TD Code of Conduct. Drive referrals to store colleagues and partners for broader financial needs. Shareholder Accountabilities Ensure compliance with regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act. Accurately process cash, deposit, and withdrawal transactions and other account‑servicing requests. Apply customer authentication principles and due diligence for new account openings and transactions. Maintain cash drawer limits and secure cash drawers/stations. Follow policy and procedure for customer authentication and act as a dual‑control agent when required.
