We’re   searching for a   Bar Manager   who loves the craft, thrives on the rush of a busy service, and knows how to turn a bar seat into the best seat in the house.  

 

What we’re Looking for  

We want someone who   truly loves   bars :   craft cocktails,   spirits   knowledge, wine curiosity, and the rhythm of a busy shift. You should have experience leading a bar team in a full-service, high-volume restaurant, ideally with an upscale or premium steakhouse vibe. Strong financial skills, creativity, and the ability to coach and inspire your team are essential.  

This role collaborates with the General Manager and Chef to support events, menu pairings, and promotional opportunities. The Bar Manager is expected to lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and contribute to the restaurant’s operational and financial goals.

Position Summary  

The Bar Manager   is responsible for   the full operation, leadership, and performance of the bar and beverage program. This role ensures exceptional guest service, financial success, consistent drink execution, and a modern, high-energy bar environment aligned with the restaurant’s steakhouse identity.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :  

  • Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.  
  • Maintain   high standards   for drink execution, presentation, and speed of service.  
  • Support floor operations during peak times and work collaboratively with the FOH and BOH leadership teams.  
  • Maintain an immaculate, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.  
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and   lift up   to 40 lbs.  
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.  

Beverage Program:  

  • Develop and   maintain   a modern, balanced beverage program including cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and N/A offerings.  
  • Create seasonal cocktail menus and collaborate with culinary leadership on pairings and specials.  
  • Conduct regular inventory and manage beverage ordering with attention to cost control and waste reduction.  
  • Monitor and analyze beverage cost, pricing, and sales mix to drive profitability.  

Leadership:  

  • Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor bartenders and bar support staff.  
  • Conduct regular skills training on mixology,   spirits   knowledge, wine service, and hospitality standards.  
  • Schedule bar staff to balance labor efficiency with business needs.  
  • Engage with guests   frequently   to build rapport, personalize service, and ensure satisfaction.  
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.  
  • Champion in   a warm, elevated hospitality style that aligns with a modern steakhouse environment.
