Description Our busy restaurant is looking for breakfast servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Responsibilities •Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
•Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
•Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
•Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
•Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
Qualifications •Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
•Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
•Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
•Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
