As a Bridge Construction Project Coordinator at SFC Civil, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting the Project Manager and Field Superintendent in daily construction operations. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance processes that prioritize environmental, health, and safety compliance while ensuring quality and cost-efficiency. Your responsibilities will include coordinating project documentation, managing RFIs and RFPs, and helping to maintain project schedules.

You'll also contribute to employee skill development and foster team commitment by holding members accountable. This position offers the chance to work on-site, where you'll assist with preconstruction activities, layout, and daily logs, as well as monitor project quality. Additionally, you'll be involved in constructing as-built drawings and facilitating project closeout activities.

To excel as a Bridge Construction Project Coordinator at SFC Civil, candidates should possess a strong foundation in construction management, ideally holding an associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. A minimum of two years of related experience is essential, paired with a robust knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment. The ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications is crucial for project coordination. Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership qualities, maintain professionalism, and exhibit integrity and sensitivity in diverse environments. Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-are vital for effective collaboration within the team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and HCSS products, along with a basic understanding of accounting and safe work practices, will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
