About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, and generating qualified leads for the sales team. This role is ideal for a competitive and results-driven individual looking to develop their sales skills and grow within a high-energy, fast-paced environment. This is an in-office position, requiring at least four days per week onsite in Austin.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage with potential customers through cold calls, emails, and social outreach to generate sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for the sales team.
  • Research and identify target companies and decision-makers in the SaaS, HR Tech, and Technology industries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM to track outreach efforts and pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to refine prospecting strategies and optimize outreach efforts.
  • Meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation goals to support revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS, HR Tech, Technology, or Staffing/Recruiting sales.
  • At least 1 year of cold calling experience, with proven success in outbound sales.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A competitive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to handle objections and push through challenges.
  • Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, at least four days per week.
