Job Responsibilities:
Cut, trim, and prepare meats to company and customer specifications
Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of meat products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area and equipment
Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety standards
Assist in receiving and inspecting meat deliveries
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the shop
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a meat cutter or butcher
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, techniques, and processing
Ability to use knives and butchering equipment safely and effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a cold environment and lift heavy products
A team player with a positive attitude
