Job Description

Viridian Staffing’s Client is seeking temporary Outdoor Cannabis Harvest Technicians to support a full-scale, outdoor harvest at a cultivation site in Pueblo, Colorado. You’re eager to be part of a thriving cannabis company, bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and you’re attentive to detail working in outdoor conditions.

Target Start: October 7, 2025- Work is Tuesday (8 am - 4:30 pm), Friday and Saturday (7 am - 3:30 pm OR 8 am - 4:30 pm)

Project Length: Approximately 2 weeks (3 days/week)

What You’ll Do

• Cut and stage plants using standard pruning shears/clippers; no ladder work expected.

• “Cut & throw” workflow: cut stalks/branches and place into designated bins/vehicles for transport.

• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant work area; participate in end-of-day cleanup and waste staging per site SOPs.

• Follow crew lead instructions; work efficiently as part of a team.

Work Environment & Facilities

• Worksite: Licensed outdoor cannabis cultivation facility in Pueblo, CO

• Outdoor field conditions (variable weather; harvests may start in cool mornings and warm up during the day).

• Terrain may be uneven/dusty with exposure to pollen and plant particulates.

• Facilities: on-site bathrooms, refrigerator, microwave, and indoor break space.

Schedule

• Typical shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (approx. 8 hours), earlier starts preferred to avoid heat.
  

• Workdays generally follow the harvest cycle: Tuesdays for cutting, then Friday/Saturday for processing
  

Requirements

• 21+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must hold an active Colorado MED Employee Badge (Marijuana Enforcement Division).

• Reliable transportation to the Pueblo site.

• Comfortable working outdoors for full shifts; able to stand/walk/bend/twist for 8–10 hours/day.

• Repetitive hand motions using shears/clippers; occasional ladder use.

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs and move materials across uneven ground.

• Strong attention to detail, on-time, team-oriented, and willing to follow direction and safety rules.

• Must be comfortable with exposure to pollen, dust, and plant matter.

Pay & Employment Details

• Estimated Pay: $16-18/hour

• Benefits: None Available for this length of assignment

• Lodging/Travel: Not included. Pueblo Area candidate strong preferred
