Carpenter
Burns Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to support capital improvement and renovation projects across our managed property portfolio. This full-time, hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented craftsperson who takes pride in high-quality work and can complete a wide range of carpentry tasks independently or as part of a team.
Reports to: Construction Superintendent
Supervises: N/A
Wage Status: $30/hour
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Bonus opportunity of $3,750 annually

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including:
- Framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim installation, minor demolition, and finish work
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Coordinate with the site team to complete work orders and renovation projects efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Handle materials and tools appropriately; assist with site logistics as needed
- Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and fellow team members while working in occupied spaces
- Report project progress, material needs, and any job site issues to the Construction Superintendent
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Functions:
- Proficient in both rough and finish carpentry
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and scopes of work
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and safely use ladders and stairs
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
