Job Summary:
The Catering and Events Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events and catering services within our facility; focused on delivering exceptional experiences for clients and guests while ensuring that all catering operations align with the company’s standards and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of catering services, ensuring high quality and adherence to food safety standards (Weddings, Corporate and Private Events from inception to completion)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and resolving any issues promptly
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to foster repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives, providing recommendations and solutions as needed (Food Truck Fridays, Fairs, Rodeos, Music Series)
• Develop event timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure all events and catering services comply with company policies, health regulations, and industry standards
• Summer Farmers Markets – Selling Value Add Products, Raw Kinikin Products, Prepared Foods, Meat Maiden Merch
• Seasonal Prepared Foods – Retail offerings, Direct to Consumer options
• Food Truck Administrative Management
  • Create and post Social Media Content
  • Develop Menus and Food Recipes
  • Open and Settle Cash Drawer/ Process Transactions
  • Manage Online Ordering
  • Administer and Maintain Website
  • Manage Culinary and Service Staff
  • Create Standards and Procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in catering and event management, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to complete various activities that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying
• Able to navigate various areas of catering locations and vehicles
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times
• Able to work in abnormally warm and cold conditions (coolers/freezer/hot truck on warm day, etc.)
