We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our Residential Group Home team at our Wilmington, Delaware. Some responsibilities include:

• To provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting.
• To ensure a safe, healthy, secure and recovery-oriented environment, which promotes growth and development.
• To facilitate participant growth and development toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization and community integration.
• To participate in the development and implementation of the participants’ recovery plans.

Hiring for part-time work schedules
Total of 16 hours, 8 hours per day, and weekend schedule Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, we can . Work around candidates advance notices and current schedules for part-time new hires to start and first week attend our day shift orientation in Philadelphia. New hire orientation requirements include only for the first four (4) day workweek Mon-Thu at our Philadelphia location, with mileage reimbursement.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required and active Delaware state license certification CNA.
• Ability to respond to disruptive behavior.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Knowledge and ability to provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record.

Scope:

• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in a residential group home.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs.
• Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Requires crisis intervention techniques in crisis situations.
