About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary CEO to lead its innovative fundraising organization dedicated to ending child marriage and empowering girls worldwide. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, strategic leader with a startup mentality, ready to spearhead the next chapter of growth and innovation. This role is pivotal in driving the organization's evolution, from refining and scaling direct-to-consumer fundraising strategies to exploring new, high-potential models. The CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, fundraising, and organizational management, with a focus on cultivating a compelling narrative, leading programmatic fundraising, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading a small organization through significant growth, strong fundraising acumen, and a genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Key responsibilities for the CEO include developing and implementing the organization's strategic vision, leading fundraising efforts, and managing a small, remote team. The role demands a leader who can balance day-to-day operations with the creative work of designing the future, and who is adept at both scaling proven strategies and exploring new ideas. The candidate should have a passion for social impact, particularly in the areas of gender equality and international development, and be capable of inspiring diverse audiences through excellent communication and public speaking skills. A strong background in mass-marketing campaigns, technology-driven outreach, and building impactful brand and PR partnerships is essential. The CEO will also be expected to partner with and develop an active, engaged board of directors, and to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and growth.
