About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to serve as a strategic leader and innovator in defining, implementing, and overseeing the organization's cyber security strategy and posture. The CISO will lead a team of cyber security professionals to design security solutions that ensure the identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. This pivotal role is responsible for developing the organization's strategic vision for cyber security architecture, establishing priorities and strategies consistent with business goals, and ensuring the protection of sensitive data and compliance with regulatory requirements. The CISO will also partner with executive leaders to encourage the adoption of security-compatible solutions that foster innovation and resilience. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 7 years in a senior executive role within the healthcare sector, is required. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications such as Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Key responsibilities include developing and executing a robust cyber security and privacy strategy, providing executive-level guidance on risk management, and leading a high-performing cyber security and privacy team. The CISO will also be involved in incident response, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
