About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and oversee its Cyber Security Unit. The CISO will be a senior IT leader, responsible for the security and risk management, asset management, security architecture and engineering, identity and access management, security operations, and security assessments. This role involves strategic planning for the cyber security functional area, administration of IT security policies and procedures, and the development and implementation of enterprise-wide security operations. The CISO will also be tasked with presenting cyber security strategies to governing bodies, conducting risk management assessments, and ensuring that security controls are in place in accordance with industry standards. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in information technology security, including supervisory experience. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security-related technologies and application development, as well as additional management or leadership experience. The role demands excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a focus on customer service and teamwork. The CISO will be expected to work in a collaborative environment, lead security projects, and be capable of adapting to change and learning new concepts quickly.
