About the Role
The Company is seeking a Technical Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with a hands-on approach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and executing a strategic enterprise vision and proactive program to ensure the protection of all information assets, employees, customers, and technologies. This role involves developing and communicating the organization's cybersecurity strategy, providing leadership to the information security team, and collaborating with various business units to integrate security into the overall technology plan. The CISO will also be in charge of risk management, security operations, compliance, training, and awareness, as well as vendor and third-party risk management. Applicants for the Technical CISO position at the company should have at least 8 years' of experience in a senior-level information security management role, a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Experience with common information security management frameworks and global regulatory requirements is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in SAAS, experience with cloud and hybrid security principles, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing global cybersecurity teams. Innovative thinking, leadership skills, and experience in contract and vendor management are also required. The role demands a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also a strategic leader capable of fostering a culture of security and driving the company's security objectives.
