JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

This job is responsible for creating engaging copy for a variety of mediums, including but not limited to, websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, advertising materials, and more. It will work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to develop and execute creative campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for various marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts and strategies.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear and engaging messaging for both internal and external audiences.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audience, market trends, and competitors.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Utilize graphic design software and content management systems to create visually appealing assets such as graphics and digital ads.
  • Optimize copy for search engines and unique channels to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of brand guidelines and creative assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a copywriter in a corporate or agency setting, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples and graphic design projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and editing in content management software.
  • Experience with AI tools, such as Search Engine Optimization and Chat GPT.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with financial terminology and regulations is a plus.

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
