Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Part-Time. This is a floater role and work hours/locations will vary depending on coverage needs . Typical shifts are 5pm–9pm, or later depending on the site being covered, with start times as late as 7pm.
• Pay: $19.76/hour
• MVR Required
• No Designated site, this role provides coverage as needed
• Coverage areas include North County San Diego (Rancho Bernardo, Oceanside, Del Mar, Cardiff, Valley Center)

What You'll Do: As a Custodian, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience : At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills : Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
