ComResource is looking for a DevOps Cloud Storage Engineer.

We are seeking a DevOps Cloud Storage Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our team in Denver, CO. This position will support professional services by deploying and configuring custom solutions, working with presales and postsales teams, and contributing to live testing, demonstrations, and training on vendor equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud and storage technologies, and a strong ability to collaborate across teams.

You will manage solutions across on-premise and Azure environments. This role is operational, and you will be involved in the migration of services to Azure, including managing security, change control, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure custom solutions in support of professional services activities.
• Build and maintain a core technical knowledge base/repository of vendor products and solutions.
• Support presales and postsales technical teams with custom configurations.
• Engage in hands-on testing, demonstration, and training for vendor equipment.
• Work with Microsoft Azure services and manage on-prem to Azure migrations.
• Support operational tasks like patch management and security SOPs.
• Adhere to change control processes in production environments.

Essentials:

• General knowledge of server virtualization and routing/switching.
• Familiarity with network protocols (IP) and Microsoft operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with storage area networking and server virtualization.
• Proficiency with VS Code and at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with change control processes.

Desired:

• Experience with storage and cloud solutions.
• Experience in infrastructure solution scripting and automation.
• Collaborative mindset, willing to work across engineering and other teams.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration.
• Basic understanding of security management (patching, SOP, Office 365).

Work Environment:

• On-site work in the Denver metro/Englewood area with some opportunity for remote work.
• The role may involve a migration from on-prem to Azure and support of production environments.
