Responsibilities •Create dental impressions of patients' teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly
•Clean dental instruments to ensure everything is sterilized properly
•Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily
•Take x-ray images of the patients' teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities
•Examine patients' dental health and get an overview of their oral health history
Qualifications •Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines
•Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
•Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
•Certified to perform CPR
•1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist
