Executive Assistant & Chief of Staff to CEO - Tech startup
A venture backed software company is looking to hire a dynamic, experienced Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff to support their CEO. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-level administrative support position with the capacity to take on additional projects and provide strategic planning for the CEO.
Salary commensurate with experience: $120-160k range + discretionary bonus + equity + fully covered medical/vision/dental for the employee, 401k match 4%, PTO: unlimited
Location : Chelsea, NYC office (85 people in office) and in office 4 days/week – 1 day remote.
Hours: 9am – 6pm in office with 24/7 mentality as needed
Ideal background:
-4-10 years of experience – venture capital, software, startup background
-Degree required
-Personality fit: extremely confident, assertive, extremely proactive with a good sense of humor
–Must be skilled at managing up and helping the CEO best utilize an EA
-Huge attention to detail/no typos
.-Tech savvy:
Core responsibilities include:
-Email triage and inbox management (Google)
-Scheduling/calendar management
-Extensive domestic travel logistics and booking, and expenses
-Providing meeting prep & rundowns of meetings, action items to follow up on
-Setting an agenda for the day
-Personal Assistant support as needed – gifting, personal calendar, appointments, etc.
-Chief of staff focused responsibilities include: research, strategic support and strategy for his meetings, managing priorities, offsite and event planning, etc.
