We’re adding a Finance Manager to our team!
The Finance Manager supports the company’s financial operations and analysis, playing a key role in budgeting, reporting and decision support. This hands-on role offers exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to learn and grow into broader financial responsibilities as the business expands.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the Finance Manager will provide financial guidance, helping to align financial and non-financial metrics with business objectives, enhance financial processes and ensure a resilient and flexible internal control environment while optimizing efficiency. This individual-contributor position requires sound technical and analytical expertise, the ability to think strategically and a strong personal drive for excellence.
This role is ideal for a finance professional early in their career who is ready to take the next step beyond pure accounting. You’ll have the opportunity to build an end-to-end financial experience, from daily operations through strategic analysis, while working directly with senior leaders who will mentor and guide your development. Additional training and certification opportunities will be available aligned with growth in the role.
Job Responsibilities
Additional Information
Business Partnering and Collaboration | The Finance Manager must actively collaborate with non-financial stakeholders, becoming an integral partner to the business. This means working closely with client services, media teams and leadership to ensure financial insights are both accurate and actionable. You will need to facilitate conversations that help ensure alignment between financial performance and business objectives.
Proactive Problem-Solving | This role requires comfort in identifying challenges and offering proactive solutions. You should be able to anticipate potential financial risks and provide advice on mitigating those risks. Your critical thinking and ability to provide insights that enhance profitability will be important.
Operational Excellence | This role requires a commitment to operational excellence. You will need to roll up your sleeves and handle the day-to-day financial tasks with precision, ensuring the company’s financial foundation is strong and resilient. You should have a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance financial processes.
Adaptability and Agility | The public relations and media landscape is fast-paced and constantly evolving. As such, the Finance Manager must be agile, adaptable and ready to shift priorities quickly when necessary. An ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and provide timely financial insights in a dynamic environment is important.
Communication and Leadership | Strong communication skills are essential to translate financial information into insights that can be easily understood by stakeholders across the business. Whether you’re advising the Executive Team or discussing client profitability with the account teams, your ability to convey key messages clearly will be critical to your success.
