We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate to support our U.S. operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about financial integrity, operational accuracy, and supporting a growing team. You will serve as a key liaison between our U.S. office and the Finance team at Tata Electronics HQ in India. Your core responsibilities will include managing financial records, tracking expenses, supporting audits, and participating in forecasting and budgeting activities.
Responsibilities
. Track, categorize, and report all U.S. operational expenses
· Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable; manage vendor payments
· Monitor and track project and operational budgets
· Ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with GAAP and company policies
· Support preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and audit requirements
· Partner with the India HQ Finance team to build forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
· Provide cost analysis and financial modeling support for business initiatives
· Track and communicate budget vs. actuals to business and operations teams
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
· 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar analytical role
· Strong understanding of financial principles, U.S. accounting standards, and expense reporting systems
· Proficient in Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
· Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
Desired Experience Level
· Hands-on, can-do attitude with a bias for action and process improvement
· Experience working with cross-border finance teams or global organizations
· Prior exposure to audit processes or tax filing support
· Ability to thrive in an unstructured or rapidly evolving environment
