Job Description
Foster Care Specialist: Must work with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and Wayne County Juvenile Court to assure that each child has the community resources to safely reunite with their family. Home visits to child and family are necessary.
The applicant will provide monthly supervision of court wards placed in the Agency’s care. Must be able to represent the Agency case plan in court and assure that child receives proper medical and dental care, psychiatric/psychological services, and appropriate educational, recreational, and cultural experiences.
Looking for team oriented, creative applicants who wish to make the difference in assuring that every child has a stable, safe, and loving environment. Minimally must be computer literate and have a BSW, or related degree.
