Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support brand and product initiatives across product design, packaging, marketing, digital content, and retailer communications. The ideal candidate is not only a strong visual storyteller but also excited about leveraging new tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) in design workflows , to enhance efficiency and innovation.

Note: This is an on-site position in Portsmouth, NH. Although we offer a hybrid workplace, we are seeking local candidates only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging visual assets for arts & crafts products, packaging, retail displays, marketing campaigns, and digital channels.

  • Ensure all files are prepared to vendor/manufacturer specifications for die lines, materials, finishes, and printing.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs.

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Product Development teams to bring concepts to life.

  • Translate business and consumer insights into effective visual communication.

  • Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven creative applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience (CPG, consumer products, or retail design a plus).

  • Proficiency in Google & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work — including print, packaging, digital assets, and product graphics. Experience with product design is a plus!

  • Excellent typography, layout, and visual communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to balance creative vision with technical precision.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Preference given to candidates with experience using AI in design workflows (e.g., AI image generation, automation tools, or advanced design applications).

  • Must be located in, or willing to commute to, Portsmouth, NH

  • Experience in packaging design for private brands is a plus.

  • Illustration and fine art skills are a plus.

  • Photography skills are a plus.

  • Video skills are a plus.
