OVERVIEW:
Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design and develop web pages, including homepages, landing pages, and content modules, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.
- Create and manage daily/weekly email communications that align with product priorities and support the needs of the e-commerce business.
- Develop editorial assets to support storytelling initiatives for new campaigns and product launches.
- Produce motion assets, including light video editing, GIFs, and animations, to enhance digital content.
- Design promotional assets for markdown events to drive sales and engagement.
- Create digital media assets for paid social, programmatic, and brand campaign media, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
- Fulfill digital asset requests from global partners in China and Japan, maintaining clear communication and timely delivery.
- Perform light image retouching as needed to maintain high visual standards.
- Research, experiment with, and implement AI-powered graphic design tools and techniques to improve design quality, accelerate workflows, and personalize visual content.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital and graphic design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a digital-first approach.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign.
- Experience with video and/or animation is a plus.
- Experience in the luxury or contemporary fashion industry is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to receive and incorporate feedback, adapt to edits, and navigate shifts in creative direction.
- Self-motivated and capable of independently managing projects and delivering on deadlines.
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: The compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 - $75,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
