Job Title: Handyman

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks across the resort’s facilities, ensuring all areas are safe, functional, and visually appealing for our guests. Your contributions will help ensure the resort remains in top condition, providing an exceptional experience for visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in resort buildings, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repairs promptly and professionally.
• Inspect resort facilities regularly to identify areas that require maintenance or repairs.
• Assist with the installation of equipment and fixtures, such as furniture, lighting, and signage.
• Conduct minor landscaping and outdoor maintenance tasks, including fence repair, lawn equipment maintenance, and irrigation system checks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot resort equipment, such as golf carts, pool pumps, and other machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and resort policies.
• Maintain an inventory of tools and supplies and report any need for replacements.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to address urgent maintenance needs and ensure smooth resort operations.
• Keep maintenance logs up to date and report progress on ongoing projects.
• Assist in seasonal preparations and cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of general maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and other basic handyman skills.
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Previous experience in a resort or hospitality setting is a plus.

Work Environment:

• The role requires working in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and working at heights.
