Medical Biller and Coder Full-Time Remote Opportunity
A short term acute care hospital is seeking a Medical Coder/Biller for a remote opportunity.

Medical Biller and Coder Pay & Benefits:

• Pay: Starting at $17/hour with certification
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Work Environment:

• Must reside in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina or Florida
• Fully remote position candidates must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection

Medical Biller and Coder Opportunity:

• Schedule: Full-Time 8-Hour Shifts
• Responsibilities: Accurately code and bill physician clinic and hospital claims for government and commercial insurance carriers. Assist with training team members and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Medical Biller and Coder Qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through AAPC or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P) through AHIMA
• 1 year of insurance coding/billing preferred
• Medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for physician billing, and familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, CHAMPUS, and oher third-party payers
