We are hiring both full-time and part-time Hospital Security Officers to join our dedicated team. Extensive training is provided. This position entails close collaboration with hospital staff, patients, and visitors. The successful candidates will be responsible for patrolling and securing designated areas while effectively identifying and addressing potential risks to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent violence, theft, or infractions of rules
• Presence in the lobby with continuous surveillance
• Monitoring of potentially threatening patients and visitors for staff safety
• De-escalation of threatening scenarios
• Assistance to law enforcement officers on site
• Protection of hospital staff, patients, and visitors
• Check facility doors
• Check in with staff regularly
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in digital reports
• Assistance with patient transport - may require lifting
• Build and maintain effective relationships with both client employees and guests
• Warn violators of premises rules and regulations

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, or other related fields is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strength and ability to implement defensive tactics and detain, restrain, and control
• Strong attention to detail
