We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and experienced HVAC Tech and Handyman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate, hardworking, and enthusiastic about the construction field. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, along with a range of other handyman skills, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role where they can apply and expand their skill set in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring they are consistently running at optimal levels.
- Conducting regular inspections of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Performing a wide range of handyman duties, including carpentry tasks and painting.
- Troubleshooting system malfunctions and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and building regulations.
- Liaising with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns or queries in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Solid handyman skills, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- A strong understanding of safety regulations and building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- HVAC certification is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
