Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented and passionate immigration paralegal looking to contribute to a dynamic legal team? This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading immigration law firm in Southern California. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with a variety of immigration matters, from family-based petitions to employment-based visas. You will work closely with experienced attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $88,000 / year DOE

Immigration Paralegal Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in immigration law, preferably in both family-based and employment-based immigration
  • Strong understanding of immigration laws and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of immigration cases, including family-based and employment-based matters
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
  • Communicate with clients and government agencies to provide updates and address inquiries
  • Maintain accurate case files and databases
  • Review and analyze immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Assist with client consultations and meetings
  • Prepare and submit immigration forms and supporting documents
  • Monitor case processing timelines and deadlines
  • Respond to requests for evidence and other government agency inquiries
  • Prepare correspondence and other legal documents as needed
