Job Description

Position Title: Installation Mechanic

Wage: $20-$22/hour Depending on experience

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Some variance depending on the contractor and job

We are looking for individuals who are willing to work state-wide in Wisconsin, preferably based in a location commutable to Green Bay/Appleton, Sheboygan/Fond du Lac, Eau Claire/La Crosse, Wausau/Steven’s Point, Madison, or Milwaukee. This company specializes in a variety of insulation services including commercial and industrial plumbing systems, HVAC piping systems, ductwork, process piping systems, and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and gain valuable experience in the industry. We value hardworking individuals who are willing to adapt to different work environments and challenges.

Installation Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install various types of insulation in commercial and industrial settings
- Comfortable working at heights, including using ladders and scissors lifts
- Work in small spaces such as attics and tunnels
- Read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately
- Construction site awareness is a must

Installation Mechanic Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town work and overnight stays
- Comfortable working with fiberglass insulation
- Familiarity with various insulation materials such as Armaflex®, PVC, Fiberglass, Aluminum, etc.
- Training will be provided for different types of insulation work
