Job Description

Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly condition. Performing periodic heavy-duty cleaning such as floor scrubbing, carpet extraction, and wall washing. Also, notifying management of needed repairs.

Examples of Essential Duties:

1. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
2. Clean and sanitize bathrooms
3. Clean countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
4. Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
5. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
6. Wear applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by OSHA standards
7. Follow safety rules and use safety precautions such as wet floor signs and caution tape, etc.

Requirements

1. Ability to work effectively with a team
2. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
3. Basic knowledge of cleaning.
4. Good attendance and punctuality.
5. Ability to work independently as needed.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in an inside Industrial environment. Employee will be subject to early morning, evening or night shifts to accommodate client requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Constant (100%) standing and walking during workday. Frequent (70%) pushing, pulling, grasping, stretching, bending, twisting, reaching over head. Occasional (30%) stooping, climbing, and squeezing. Must be able to lift/push/pull more than 50 lbs.
