Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, with a strong commitment to safety and quality work. This role involves working on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects, ensuring all electrical systems meet code requirements.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely repairs.
Perform routine inspections to ensure systems comply with safety codes and regulations.
Collaborate with apprentices, contractors, and other trades on job sites.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to OSHA and NEC safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required).
4+ years of electrical experience.
Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and electrical best practices.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Experience with electrical testing tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
Commercial and industrial project experience.
Supervisory or mentoring experience with apprentices.
