The Goddard School in Collegeville, PA (right across from Providence Town Center!) is looking for a
passionate, energetic, and dedicated Junior Kindergarten Assistat Teacher to join our amazing team!
Our Pre-K/Junior Kindergarten program is designed for children who just miss the public school age cutoff and its the perfect blend of Pre-K readiness and Kindergarten foundations. Youll work side-by-side with another talented lead teacher to create fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence.

Qualifications: - High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 2-4 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Can work collaboratively with others (team player)
- Enjoys working with positive, like-minded people who are passionate about education
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Curriculum & Instruction: - Assist with the creation and implementation of flexible, age-appropriate lesson plans using Goddards curriculum, along with other curricular materials ( Fundations; Everyday Math ).
- Inspire a love of learning through hands-on, engaging activities.
- Observe and assess student development, adapting lessons using real-time data.
Classroom Management: - Build a safe, welcoming, and child-centered classroom environment.
- Manage daily routines smoothly and use positive guidance for behavior.
Family Communication: - Keep families informed through daily updates and conferences.
- Foster strong parent partnerships and encourage involvement.
Health & Safety: - Maintain a clean, safe learning space; follow all safety protocols.
- Supervise children at all timesindoors and outdoors.
Professional Growth: - Engage in ongoing training and stay current on best practices.
- Collaborate with teammates to support a strong school community.
