Lab Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a landmark Earth Dam development, one of the largest of its kind in Florida. We’re seeking a Lab Manager to oversee laboratory operations for a high-profile, multi-year infrastructure project located within easy reach of West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. This role offers career growth, long-term stability, and the chance to work with a respected team on a nationally significant project.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee daily lab functions, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
- Manage calibration schedules, equipment upkeep, and quality control documentation.
- Support internal audits, maintain qualifications, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Supervise lab and field personnel, providing training and ensuring proper procedures.
- Coordinate with leadership to align resources with project timelines and technical needs.
- Oversee testing activities and ensure timely communication of results.
- Contribute to updates of procedures, safety protocols, and quality systems.

Preferred Background:

- Experience in construction or geotechnical materials testing.
- Familiarity with FDOT protocols and relevant certifications (ACI, CTQP) is advantageous.
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
