Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in managing cases effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and will assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Coordinate calendars and schedule appointments for court appearances and meetings
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel as necessary
• Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and other materials
• Review and summarize discovery documents and evidence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
• 8+ years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal or legal assistant
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology
• Experienced in drafting documents, objections, and state/ Fed. filing
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in legal research and drafting documents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
