Job Description
Seeking a caregiver to work a shift that begins on Saturday at 8:30 am and ends on Monday at 8:30 am. This is for a 5 bed assisted living Group Home in the Pensacola, Florida area that services APD clients. Sleep quarters are provided for an 8 hour sleep period per night.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervision of residents, assistance with self-administration of medications, meal preparation/snacks, assistance with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living as needed, documentation, light housekeeping and notifying the administrator of any changes in residents' conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
Must:
-Have a high school or GED diploma and prefer several year's experience working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or childcare setting, or experience working with recipients with developmental disabilities.
-Be able to pass a level II background screening.
-Have to be able to obtain the necessary training required to work in this setting.
