We areseeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Medicine Physician (Nocturnist) toprovide locum tenens coverage at a leading healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK.
AssignmentDetails
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
- Schedule: Must be flexible to work both day and night shifts as needed
- Call: Rotating call schedule
- Coverage Requirement: Must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care during night shifts
- Admit, manage, and coordinate care for a variety of adult medical conditions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Respond to nighttime emergencies and rapid responses
- Accurately document all patient encounters in the facility’s EMR
- Participate in rotating call coverage as needed
Requirements
- Board Certification:
- American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM)
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Flexibility: Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
- Ability to work 7 consecutive shifts, ideally 2 weeks per month
