We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Medical Administrator in Irving, Texas. This role is in the Medical Devices industry and will primarily involve office administration, patient management, and communication duties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth running of general office duties such as answering phone calls, managing daily correspondence, and maintaining paper and electronic file systems.
• Coordinate, schedule, and confirm patients' prosthetic and follow-up appointments.
• Manage new patient processing including initial information gathering, check-in and check-out procedures, patient education, and updating the corporate database.
• Assist in translating for Spanish speaking patients to ensure clear and effective communication.
• Conduct benefit verification checks to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in the administration of patient evaluation and satisfaction surveys.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential patients to foster trust and loyalty.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports with tracking information for management review.
• Oversee patient file management, ensuring information is kept current daily, including chart notes, doctor’s signatures, delivery acknowledgments, and follow-up management.
• Coordinate and manage the overall office clinical staff schedule and maintain a log for office repairs/needs.
• Prepare patient appointment materials, ensuring all needed paperwork and release forms are prepared for scheduled appointments.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.• Proven customer service skills and experience
• Fluency in Spanish language
• Experience in a medical office setting
• Familiarity with receptionist duties including answering inbound calls
• Proficiency in record keeping and data entry
• Ability to handle patient concerns professionally and empathetically
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures
• Experience in coordinating appointments in a healthcare setting
