Job Description

Job Title : Mid-level ETL Developer

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using ETL tools like SSIS, Talend, or Informatica.
• Extract data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) and load it into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Transform data as needed to meet business requirements and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data integration requirements.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings.
• Conduct unit and integration testing of ETL processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data quality, and data integration.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools for ETL development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience in cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of data transformation, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data integration and ETL-related issues.
• Good understanding of data governance and data quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions or cloud data platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
