Musician NFW Join to apply for the Musician NFW role at Compass Christian Church Job Details Location: North Fort Worth - Haslet, TX Schedule: Part Time as scheduled Responsibilities The position assists the Worship Leader and other team members in fulfilling the Worship Ministry vision by creating and executing powerful and moving worship experiences. Qualifications Committed Christian comfortable working in a church environment and aligned with our Christian beliefs. Commit to support the mission of Compass Church by following the Worship Team Rehearsal and Service Leading Guidelines. Uphold Worship Team Member Expectations: Love, support, and encourage fellow worship team members. Serve with a pastoring heart - not only are we worshiping God as we play/sing, but we are doing so to help others do the same. Pastoring > Performance. Communicate healthily and in a Christ‑like manner. Be prepared to play music assigned at rehearsal; know the music/chords without relying on sheet music. Be prepared and punctual; arrive at least 15 minutes before rehearsal starts. Have instruments ready for service; if not using your own, let the Music Director and Worship Leader know your equipment needs before the scheduled rehearsal. Be flexible during rehearsal with changes to ensure the flow of worship. Take constructive feedback and adjust music accordingly. For mobile campuses, responsible for set up and breakdown of equipment. Clock in/out at appropriate times; communicate issues to Music Director. Commit to time and weekend scheduled in Planning Center; notify Music Director if conflicts. Adhere to Compass Church stage dress code. Continually grow, eagerly accept coaching and be willing to coach others.
