Job Description

MORI Associates delivers cutting-edge IT and engineering solutions for government and Fortune 500 clients. We seek a skilled Network Security Engineer to support JPL, providing advanced networking solutions for institutional work and for spaceflight operations.

You will leverage your firewall, VPN, and NAC skills to protect JPL and its missions. You will design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, ensuring mission-critical network resilience. You will work with internal customers to understand their needs, and to develop secure solutions.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• 5+ years in firewall deployment and management (Palo Alto and enterprise-scale Panorama preferred)
• Expertise in remote access VPN solutions (Palo Alto GlobalProtect preferred)
• Expertise in 802.1X/NAC including certificates (Aruba ClearPass preferred)
• Expertise in dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
• Strong working knowledge of routing & switching platforms (Juniper preferred)
• Residence located within commutable distance to JPL/Pasadena, CA - some onsite work required

Preferred:

• Excellent customer service skills and experience gathering requirements from business and technical teams
• Recent experience in systems engineering applied to computing or network architectures
• Programming skills (Python, Bash, Ansible)

The expected salary range for this job is $115-132K depending on related education, experience and our assessment of relevant skills....
