Background:

The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), headquartered at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees, and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. The Public Affairs Office (PAO) and Marketing (MPM) are responsible for fulfilling the obligation to keep important and diverse internal and external audiences informed. The success of DeCA in achieving its vision hinges, in large measure, upon DeCA’s ability to educate and inform key audiences through effective strategic communications.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain, support, and refresh existing websites, databases, and applications for DeCA.
• Respond, track, and report tickets within the Remedy system.
• Troubleshooting of website software and applications to correct any issues identified.
• Provide user training yearly on the upgraded Content Management System (CMS).
• Provide analysis, assessments, and reports based on website metrics.
• Monitor existing infrastructure capabilities and publish reports based on the data.
• Support employee and patron targeting efforts.
• Provide audits of existing site content and work with stakeholders to create, reduce, or refine content throughout both websites.
• Assist with integrating the Forsee Survey Platform into the commissaries.com site.

Qualification(s):

• Must have IAT II Certification (Security+ CE, CND, CCNA-Security, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, or GSEC)
