Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner!

Summary:

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients? At CHRISTUS SETX Health System , we are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive care and support to our community. In this role, you will:

• Coordinate care with our Medical Director, utilizing your training and expertise.
• Conduct patient education and ensure accurate, timely documentation in line with regulatory standards.
• Engage with community agencies and participate in events that promote our health system.
• Individualize care plans for each patient, collaborating closely with our healthcare team.

As a vital member of our team, you will take medical histories, perform physical exams, order and interpret lab studies, and provide treatment for chronic diseases. You will work hand-in-hand with our RNs and Medical Director to ensure follow-up care, identify additional needs, and educate patients on medication management.

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

• Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nursing OR as a Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board (or the ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Valid DEA license (or the ability to obtain one prior to employment).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
