*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate *WILL be able to operate manual transmission(s)* and will be responsible for transporting across long distances (typically 1 - 2 nights out), ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

*Duties*
* Operate various types of trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, verifying that all shipments are secure.
* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and delivery schedules.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
* Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
* Handle minor maintenance tasks as needed, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

*Qualifications*
* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
* Proven experience in truck driving tractor-trailer and flatbed trucks.
* Manual transmission vehicles is mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
* A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past few years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.48 - $0.60 per mile
