Job Description

Adecco Creative and Marketing is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry.

5 days a week on-site is a requirement

Position Overview:

The Production Assistant will support the production team in managing day-to-day operations. This includes assisting with sample development, production schedules, inventory management, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and communication between vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating production timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Help track and maintain inventory of raw materials, trims, and finished products.
  • Work with the production team to source, manage, and oversee sample creation.
  • Organize and update production calendars and schedules.
  • Liaise with factories, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Assist in quality control by inspecting samples and final products.
  • Prepare production reports and document any issues that arise during production.
  • Support the design and production teams with general administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a fashion production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve quickly.
  • Passion for fashion and an eagerness to learn.
